WLAM Centennial Gala and Awardee Recognition

To celebrate 100 years of Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, a centennial gala was held at the Colony Club in Detroit on April 27.  The WLAM Foundation joined the celebration, choosing to also recognize all of the scholarship awardees!

The keynote speaker was Irin Carmon (pictured left), a contributing writer to the Washington Post's Outlook section and co-author of Notorious RBG: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg (2015), which spent three months on the New York Times' bestseller list.

We also recognized the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan Foundation's scholarship recipients.  Profiles of our wonderful awardees can be viewed here.
